Almighty Supreme Lord Swaminarayan
Swaminarayan Bhagwan is the supreme God, who graciously visited this Earth about 230 years ago (1781 CE – 1830 CE). Earth was overwhelmed by evil and discrimination. Consequently the spiritual nourishment of haribhakto had seized. To restore proper conduct, devotion, and spirituality, Swaminarayan Bhagwan came to this Earth. Most importantly though, He incarnated for the benefit and sheer joy of His haribhakto. He is divine and has definite shape. He is almighty, invincible, omnipotent, omniscient, ever-present, and the cause of everything. He is Sarvopari, Shree Sarvopari Bhagwan, in that there is no one above and more powerful than Him.
Divine Inspiration
P. P. Sd. Shree Gyanjivandasji Swami - Kundaldham
The Swaminarayan Bhagwan temples (affiliated with the “Vadtal Desh”) at Kundaldham and Karelibaug, Baroda, were built by the sole inspiration of honorable saint P.P. Sadguru Shree Gyanjivandasji Swami (Kundaldham). Pujya Swamiji has been giving discourses on myriad scriptures of the Swaminarayan Sampraday like Satsangijivan, Bhakt Chintamani, Vasudev Mahatmya, Yamdand etc. Humble at heart, Stern towards his goal in helping attain God’s divine experience, Noble in preaching, he is undoubtly the root of divinity in uncountable hearts… It’s his divine inspiration that Gopinathji Gaushala is the happy abode of the best breed of Gir cows that serve the Supreme Almighty Lord Swaminarayan.
Our Temples & Activities
The Swaminarayan temples located at Kundaldham and Karelibaug, Baroda, are operated by the Shri Hari Satsang Trust and the Shri Swaminarayan Temple Trust, respectively. These temples were built by the sole inspiration of honorable saint, P. P. Sadguru Shree Gyanjivandasji Swami. Under the guidance and supervision of Swamiji, numerous spiritual, social, educational and health related activities are carried out regularly.
Amongst these, the Gopinathji Gaushala at Kundaldham is an earthly heaven for the best breed of Gir Cows. Our hindu mythology has greatly mentioned cows as the most sacred beings on earth as per Vedas, Bhagwat Gita and other Purans (holy books). And so is the Indian (desi) cow also known as the Vedic cow. Being high in piousness and spirituality, So at Gopinathji Gaushala – Kundaldham, the Supreme Lord Swaminarayan is heartly served with his beloved cows milk, ghee and curds all year round.
At Gopinathji Goshala, all the Cows, Bulls and Calves are considered as members of Gods divine family. Thus even after growing old none of them are abandoned or sold to slaughter houses. Infact, they are equally cared for uptil they leave their mortal body and reach God’s divine aboad. Here the Gir Cows roam freely and are fed only on green organic grass that eliminates the possibility of presence of any kind of chemical in the milk. Since its initiation in 2003, the Gopinathji Goshala has been providing pure Cow’s milk to Lord Swaminarayan and his devotees earnestly. Beginning with only 10 milking Cows, our family has now grown to more than 300 Cows, Bulls and calves.
