Method 1: Take ghee in your palm

Method 2: Heat the ghee on a gas flame

Have some ghee in a spoon & heat it on the gas flame. If the ghee turns into a dark brownish color, it means it is pure ghee. If it has synthetic material like vegetable ghee, it will take longer to melt – Pure ghee melts almost instantly.

Method 3: Mix HCL & sugar with ghee 

This is a bit nerdy. If you have access to concentrated HCL by any means, you can add an equal amount of acid to ghee and a pinch of sugar. Wait for 3-5 minutes, if crimson color appears at the bottom, it means it has vegetable oils.
